For nine weeks, Angel worked for an hour a week with a mentor to come up with a story of his own, which was brought to life on stage by professional actors at a Big Show at our school, then again at the Biggest Show at the Theatre at the Ace Hotel on October 23, 2024.
Union Ave. Arts Program was in the news on Telemundo52. Our students and Art Teacher were interviewed about our new Mural, which focuses on maintaining our roots.
Once again, Union Avenue was on TV. Channel 2 and 9 News was here to congratulate LAUSD's Student of the Month, Skyler Imperialbobis, and Teacher of the Month, Samantha Pulliam. Thank you for representing the hard work that all of our students and teachers at Union Avenue put forth on a daily basis.
